Hycon was established 25 years ago as a small engineering firm called Heyer Consulting, named after Hycon's owner Dave Heyer. Dave's career began as a tool and die-maker engineer, and Hycon was a natural progression to get into contract engineering. As time passed, Dave saw the opportunity to improve the die-making industry with a remarkable new technology. That technology is what we all know today as EDM.

Hycon has represented many of the major edm manufacturers, including Agie, Mitsubishi, Japax, and Sodick. Today our exclusive business is in used edm equipment. Hycon is the largest volume reseller of used edm equipment in North America.

At Hycon not only do we sell reconditioned and used edm equipment, but we also provide the best application, training, and technical support in the industry. We offer application help for all of your edm needs. Come to us with any edm question. We will be happy to spend as much time as possible to help with your specific requirement. Tooling and programming solutions are also offered as part of a complete package approach to your used edm equipment purchase.

APPLICATIONS HELP

With the combined expertise of our sales and technical staff, we offer turnkey application solutions for your edm requirements. We are able to offer specialized fixturing help, cell design technology, applications for long-run production, and wire, sinker, or edm drill applications of all types.

TRAINING HELP

With any machine that we sell we offer excellent support for our customers. If you are a first-time buyer of edm equipment, we provide installation of any tool that you purchase from Hycon. We also offer training for the equipment that we sell. The standard training costs range from $1000 to $4000, depending on the level of training offered.

WARRANTY

We offer warranty coverage on any inventory machine we sell, from a start-up 100% operational guarantee to a 30-day warranty. All of our machines that we sell from stock are powered, with all components checked, cleaned, and repaired as necessary. TOOLING AND SOFTWARE
