CONSIGNMENT

Why let us consign your machine?

There are two issues to consider here. One is signing a 90 day consigment agreement with us that will give us exclusive rights to sell your edm. When we have the assurance that we will not compete with other dealers on the same equipment, we are more willing to spend more time and resources to remarket your equipment. Hycon will aggressively solicit your equipment for sale by utilizing the following methods:

Line ads in UED and Locator
Internet listing
Faxing target audience
Using our inside sales force to phone all potential buyers

The second issue would be that Hycon can and will consign your equipment in our facility. We have the ability to move your equipment to our location and power the equipment for demonstration. We can take your equipment out of your shop and sell it off of our floor. This might allow some customers to better utilize limited space with more productive equipment. Also, if you prefer not to have other people in your shop this is a good option to consider.

BROKER

Let us broker your machine from your floor. We can maximize your return by allowing us to bring the customer to you. If we donÕt move the equipment and incur costs, we can maximize your return and offer a better price to the customer who purchases your machine.

SPECIAL GUARANTEED TRADE-IN PROGRAM

In many cases, the new machine that you have ordered may take between 4-8 weeks to be delivered. Hycon will issue a purchase order for your machine. If we can sell your equipment to another company before we remove it from your shop, we can net you a much better number. You have the piece of mind that the machine is sold when your new machine arrives. For instance, we will issue a guaranteed purchase of your trade-in machine for $15,000. If we can find a home before we have to pay for the equipment and move it to our shop, we can typically net you between $5,000-$10,000 more for your equipment.

BUY OUTRIGHT

Let us send you a check for your equipment and then send a truck. This method allows you to remove equipment immediately and generate cash. We can even send our technicians to your shop to aid in the removal of the equipment. This method allows the fastest turn-around. Of course, Hycon does incur additional cost purchasing equipment this way so chances are that you will realize a smaller return on investment.
